I left my job in 2020 and in 2021, I’m running my own freelancing company

I always wanted to have the leading role in all areas but when I jumped into my career field, I started feeling uncomfortable with the concept of being a small employee and always say Yes Sir; Okay Sir; Right Sir.

I don’t know how people manage to survive the toxicity of the workplace under acute circumstances. Though I was given comfortable and flexible working hours and my employers were good enough to me but still, I always wanted to run away from that job culture.

From day one, I wasn’t satisfied with my job and wanted to do something on my own and build my own name. Based on this agenda of taking a risk and leaving my job was somehow a painstaking task but eventually proved fruitful.

After withdrawing my last salary in April 2020, my bank balance was ZERO. But I remained hopeful to keep going and never look back.

My Journey of Freelancing

I started working as a freelancer in the SEO, SMM, content writing, and landscaping niches where I was lucky enough to get projects without much hassle that many newbies have to face.

Once I got my account registered and making it even stronger with positive reviews, I thought to give it an official name which was again a challenge to find with uniqueness.

After doing some research, I finalized Atelier Designers which I think is pretty good. [Your remarks or even suggestions on that are welcome. =)]

Now coming back to the story, my family completely supported me in my every decision — be it academic, personal, or career related. This gave me a new spark to do something and break stereotypes in my culture where girls/women going to work are considered TABOOS.

Nonetheless, I continue working as a freelancer and made a team of 5–6 people working under me by the end of October 2020. Especially during hefty lockdowns, it was my privilege to be the source of income for so many people. Sometimes I feel like a SWAGGER ;-)

Recently, I did my first workshop regarding earning through a freelance platform and I was much amazed by the overwhelming responses:

Now, I am much stronger than ever and never wanna look back to that toxic time. I still remember taking that decision during lockdown when everyone’s jobs were already on sake. Thank’s to the Almighty for this path and for giving me the strength to do something on my own.

I hope this will light a little spark in you too to take the bold decisions and do what makes you happy and content. Trust me, you’ll never gonna regret leaving a lethal situation/place/person and you will eventually land in a safer and happier zone.

My Message: Taking a risk is always worth it rather than feeling fear and do nothing at all.
